Unique Venice creations.
Venice, one of the world’s most unique cities, suspended on water and dotted with magnificent palaces, bridges and “calli” (narrow streets): this magical place, where time seems to have stopped, is filled with art and wonder. The pink hues of sunrise and sunset reflected in the lagoon, the silence of the city at night and the scents of the canals are quite impressive.
Venice is characterised by three elements: water, wood and glass, which come together to create an exclusive heritage that is always impressive.
Since time immemorial, one of these elements has played a significant aesthetic role, but also a functional role: in fact, wood, has the specific purpose of showing the many boats sailing the Venetian lagoon and canals every day which waterway to take.
However, the constant passage of boats and ships inevitably causes wood rot, so the poles are altered in a different and unique way each time.
Water, wood
and glass.
Glass represents the best support and complement to wood: the transparency of the material, reminiscent of water, enhances the natural decorations and hidden details of the briccola, highlighting the artwork and blending perfectly with its surroundings.
A unique process
How Pal dei Dogi
was born.
Pal dei Dogi is born from the selection and processing of unique pieces, made inimitable by their precious imperfections, which certify the authenticity of the product. Three fundamental processes are involved in creating the artworks: the selection of exhausted briccole, their processing, and finally, the creation of unique artworks in the world.
Selection
The exhausted briccola is extracted and left to dry before being sectioned into fine laminates. The artisans then select only the sections with a strong artistic impact, capable of evoking emotions.
Processing
Through a special artisanal lamination process, the selected veneer of the briccola is placed between two glass panels, crafted by the skilled hands of master glassmakers.
Creation
This is how the Pal dei Dogi artworks are born exclusive pieces of art that, with their watery transparency, enhance the facets of this wood, which is nothing less than the purest soul of Venice.

Certificate of authenticity.
Each panel Pal dei Dogi is individually hand-crafted, which makes every product unique. Possible flaws should not be perceived as shortcomings, but unique features that vouch for the authenticity and the exceptional nature of the artwork.
All artworks are accompanied by a dedicated certificate of authenticity, which certifies and guarantees that the briccola originates from the Venice Lagoon.
